Service Description

Bring a sewing machine and we'll all make a flower garland to hang at home (or in your camper van or beach hut!) All the materials are provided - there will be huge choice of fabrics for the petals so you can make a bright colourful garland, or theme the colours to your choice. We'll start off on the sewing machine stitching all your carefully chosen fabrics into petal shapes, then we'll switch to hand sewing to construct the petals into flowers - these flowers are very satisfying to make and we'll make as many as time allows - we'll start off making 6 and see how we go! Your copies of the patterns are yours to take home after the class and you can use them again and again. All our classes are small (upto 6 people) We have a lovely table & comfy chairs in our shop especially for classes (the shop isn't open to the public when we hold classes). We provide teas/coffees and simple homemade cake - if you have any food/drink requirements please let us know asap. We have plenty of free parking and a toilet. We have materials galore and all the basic tools you will need - if you have your own favourite tools please bring them with you (I am a bit picky about scissors, so I'd always take my own!) Sewing Machine: please note some classes require you to bring your own sewing machine...we don't currently have machines to loan out so only book if you can bring your machine. If your class is a 2 or 4 day class you are able to leave your machine in the classroom until the next class if you wish.
