Service Description

Bring your sewing machine and make your own felt monkey, with dungarees & duffel coat. All the materials and a printed pattern are provided. Pattern by Jodie Ric Rac. There are two outfit options (photos to follow) Red duffel coat & pink floral flannel dungarees Blue duffel coat & grey and teal twill stars dungarees Some bits of the monkey are fiddly, so would better suit a more confident machine sewer rather than a complete beginner - but don't be put off, felt is very forgiving and gives excellent results and there's help and advice galore...and if something goes wrong, we just start over - everyone will have a finished monkey that they love! The dungarees and duffel coat are beautiful - you'll be so proud when your monkey is finished and wearing his outfit - I can't wait to see all the monkeys! Your copies of the patterns are yours to take home after the class and you can use them again and again. All our classes are small (upto 6 people) We have a lovely table & comfy chairs in our shop especially for classes (the shop isn't open to the public when we hold classes). We provide teas/coffees and simple homemade cake - if you have any food/drink requirements please let us know asap. We have plenty of free parking and a toilet. We have materials galore and all the basic tools you will need - if you have your own favourite tools please bring them with you (I am a bit picky about scissors, so I'd always take my own!) Sewing Machine: please note some classes require you to bring your own sewing machine...we don't currently have machines to loan out so only book if you can bring your machine. If your class is a 2 or 4 day class you are able to leave your machine in the classroom until the next class if you wish.
